Deep-tech company Enterprise Blockchain announced on the 16th that it will establish a joint venture (JV) with Southeast Asian SuperApp Grab to establish a talent market platform for Gigwalker in Indonesia.
Enterprise Blockchain, along with Grab, has decided to jointly establish a talent market platform in Indonesia where gig workers (short-term workers) can receive not only job matching but also financial services.
Enterprise Blockchain is a blockchain subsidiary of Hanwha System, which was launched for the global platform business. In September last year, it launched YOGIG, a “work matching service for N-jobs” in Korea, and entered the gig economy (temporary economy) market. The global gig economy market is growing at an annual rate of 17%.
Through the establishment of this joint venture, Enterprise Blockchain is a deep-tech company and will lead the development of various types of technologies such as work matching platforms based on NFT CV, a blockchain-based resume. Grab plans to provide a wide range of network and business know-how as a leader in ride-sharing and food delivery services in Southeast Asia.
Launched in 2012, Grab is a super app used by more than 32 million people every month in 480 cities in eight Southeast Asian countries. It has more than 5 million delivery partners and more than 4 million stores and dealerships. Last year, Grab partners earned $8.9 billion through the Grab platform.
